Sump Help!

I have a 20 gallon AGA sump for my 90 gallon reef. It was place under the stand and set up before I realized that I need baffles. Does anyone have the tools, and materials to make a couple of plexi-glass baffles for my sump? Or know where I can buy some pieces and get them cut? I will pay for materials and labor.
I just need 3 pieces cut to fit the sump. I am having a lot of problems with micro-bubbles and I don't know of any other way to fix the problems. Once they are cut I can drain the water out and glue them in.
Thanks, Jeff

There is a place on 150th or smith rd. I had my tank made there just use google. I cant remember the name. Nice people and cheap too.

Paul (fade2black) does a lot with acrylic. I am sure he could cut you some pieces to size. IME, The only downside to acrylic baffles is securing them to the glass. Silicone works great on glass but not very well on acrylic.

Another alternative would be to have glass baffles cut to size. If so, make sure the top and bottom edges are polished.

PM me what you need including sizes and quantities. I have some scrap acrylic I can make them from for you.

I have a fully stocked aquarium with corals and fish, can I shut off flow to the sump for 24 hours for the silicone to dry with out any major problems? Or does it need to cure that long?

i say let it cure the full time, silicone doesent bond well to acrylic, although i used acrylic in a glass tank too. also its important when you refill your sump to do it in sections because if you have one side of the tank fill up too high first it'lll blow out a baffle. i think if you move your heater up to your DT and make sure your powerheads keep mixing up the surface and you'll be more than fine. also make sure you get the right kind of silicone. i bought some stuff that was made for aquariums but theres probably cheaper stuff thats fine.
