Sump light

I just added a goby/shrimp pair. They burrowed down in the sand to find the light of the refugium coming up through the bottom glass of the tank. Will this bother them long term? I could cover up the glass so the sump light doesn't bleed through...but its really cool to poke my head under there to see them.
