I think I'd let the fuge overflow to the left sump and pull from the left instead of pulling from both. Requires 1 more bulkhead drilled though.

Yep, drain into the sump and fuge (put a valve on the fuge side so you can regulate the flow to it). Overflow the fuge into the sump and pull from the sump to send back to the tank.

You want to skim your water before sending it to the fuge. Your skimmer will work much better this way.

with different sized tanks pulling from both of them might cause wierd water levels in teh sump and fuge

why do you split the water between the fuge and sump?
i'm almost ready to set mine up.
i thought the flow was from the tank to the sump to the fuge, back to the tank...

the reason i am pulling from both is because i am not sure how much room will be left in the sump after the skimmer is put in there

That looks good. I had always subscribed to the theory to send raw unskimmed water to the fuge and valve it to keep a slow flow with most going straight to the skimmer. If you set that G3 up as a recirculating let the overflow pipe be the feed line that way you skim it all with the exception of the trickle to the fuge.
