A lot of thought, time and money goes into out display tank. It makes sense, that's what everyone will look at, right?
However, all of us that work on our tanks have to deal with our sump area/space, and at least in my case, if it's not organized or of easy access it bothers me tremendously...
I have always done my plumbing in a very simplistic way (because I didn't know better)
However, now that I'm setting up another tank, I want to baby it out all the way.
Show off worthy!!! ;-)
I have looked at some threads, as well as some videos online and I did find a few designs and ideas I liked, however I couldn't think of a better place to look for inspiration and ideas than Reef Central.
I am planning on PVC pipe all the way, and I'm planning on building a manifold-like section where I will add some barbed fittings to allow me to connect reactors if I ever need them, connect some tubbing for easy water changes, etc...
So, if you took your time (and money) to design/create a show off worthy sump bring it on! I really want to see it.
Pics are worth a thousand words.... ;-)
