Sump project

With the added stock in my tank I need to swap out my sump for something more practical and efficient. So for now being the given amount of space i have to slide it under the tank through the front doors, I'll be using a 29 gal all-glass tank. 30x12x18"

1st section I will be using a acrylic mount bracket & filter sock. Sharing the same chamber will be my new ASM G-3 skimmer w/ gate valve. There will then be a baffle which I'll have a media bag for carbon and also be using Chemi-pure from here on out.

2nd section will be my return pump and UV light pump.

3rd chamber will be a 12x12x16 section for a Fuge. I wish it was bigger but for now its all i can spare room for. I'll have 12 lbs of Kents marine biosediment, 10-12lbs LR, various macro, possibly a mangrove or two, couple conch's, snails and hermits. Will drain into return pump section w/ a screened bulkhead to conserve space. It will be fed water from the overflow with a tee and ball valve to control flow.

IS this a good idea??? Or do most people put a tee on the outlet side of the return pump to feed the fuge?

I would draw it all out and post it but would never look as good as other RC members diagrams

Anything i should know before swapping out sumps? Not going to experience a cycle am I?

I would have to say dont put any critteres in the fuge area they will chew on the macro, i think i have like 1 snail in a 45 gallon fuge.....

i odnt see why u would expierence and cycle agin.... no reson.....
