Sump Question

Wow, thanks for all the help fellows! Sounds like I just need to find a good price on a 30 or 40 gallon!
 
Alright guys, I got the tank purchased from Petware House today. Do I just need to provide you with the measurements for the baffles now?
 
If you want me to get the black ones, then yes, tell me what you need. I might even be able to get them tonight, otherwise it will have to be next weekend.
 
The reason I ask is because everything I have read says to make sure it's at least 1/4 inch thick to make sure it doesn't bow or crack under the water pressure.
 
Alright, here are the sizes I need.

2 x 1/4 thick (or thicker) 9 inches tall 11 3/4 inches wide
1 x 1/4 thick (or thicker) 10.5 inches tall 11 3/4 inches wide
1 x 1/4 thick (or thicker) 13.5 inches tall 11 3/4 wide (teeth cut on this starting at 12 inches)

Let me know if you have any questions at all or if you can't do it.
 
I will not know for a couple of days. I will let you know as soon as I can find out. I work the weekend shift, and today is my first day off in 2 weeks.
 
Fireworm - Any idea when you will know on the pieces and their thickness? Also, can you suggest a good place to purchase aquarium safe silicon?
 
As long as its 100% silicone its (assuming) safe. I have never had problems from using 100% CLEAR silicone. I know ACE Hardware, along with Lowes and such sell it. Just make sure you allow proper drying time. Also, Pet Supplies Plus on Coldwater is probably the cheapest place to buy a tank when I was pricing them. But, I have noticed petwarehouse has come down alot on their prices though.
 
I bought a tube of aquarium silicone from meijers on lima when I was doding a few DIY projects. You can order by teh tube from online vendors such as Premium or foster and smith.
 
Fireworm - Any idea if you will be able to get the baffles this weekend? If not can you let me know and I will purchase some cut glass from somewhere this weekend. I would really like to have the sump done by Monday.
 
Sorry about that. If I can get him to help me through out the week I will. I will try to get him to cut your stuff, and mine.
