I thought it might be fun to see pictures of everyones sumps. Plus it gives me a chance to show off the new fluidized reactor i picked up last week!

I dont think i have room for anything else in it but you just never know :D

When I heard you got the reactor I wondered where in the heck it was going to go

Okay I'll bite.

For those of you at the last meeting here is what my mini sump/refugium looks like now that's on my prop tank

Funny you should say that. I had to shave off about a millimeter of the base of the reactor for it to fit. It's a tough thing to take a sander to a brand new deltec product. :D

Mary: I use to have a tidepool. The media trays come in quite handy.

Ltpiper: Hows the man grove doing? I have never tried to grow one.

It lost a leaf from the move but has two little new leaves that have just recently poped out. Not much change other than that. I've had it for a couple months now.

Sorta OT, but whats a fluidized reactor do????

For Matt, its just a fancy way to add carbon to his system, but it can be used to get the most out of any media you might want to use in your system with the best contact time possible.

And Amy, that is one HUGE, very cute puppy, now I see why he eats everything in site. I see a hijacked thread in our future:D
