Sump speed?

Hey everyone, I've got a waveline dc pump running in my 10 gal sump and its connected to a dc pump controller. My tank is a 60 gallon cube and I just started this tank a couple days ago. What speed should I be running the sump at? It has 6 different speeds on the controller.

Generally, you don't need a ton of turnover through the sump, especially if you have good flow in the tank. 3-5x the tank volume/hr. is perfectly fine. Some people like to run higher, it just depends. Slower flow rates also help cut down on water noise with the drain.
