I have a eshopps 3rd. gen 100 sump. dose the adjustment plate in the skimmer box set the water depth in that compartment?it was set only 1 inch fron the top of the hole it covers. I assume it sets water level there are no directions or info in there boxes. and how often do you clean the foam pads?

The first baffle in the compartment will set the water level for that specific compartment.

As for the foam pads they should be clean weekly.
