Sumping my tank

OK, so I have decided that I'm going to drill the tank to fit an internal overflow. Now the question is, if I'm doing a 1 1/4" main hole and 1 1/2" emergency, what bulkheads will I need? Also, can I just upturn a 90 so the water just drains down it rather than having a siphon? I'm probably miles out with it but all the different ways of doing eg, pipes, valves ect it's a bit overwhelming to figure out a way that will work for me.

The tank is a corner tank only around 100ltrs and the sump will only be around 30ltrs. The main purpose for the sump for me is to hide equipment ect and for a fuge.

Any help would be appreciated!

Yes you can it doesn't have to be complicated I don't even use a emergency whole that's just me I'll upload you a video of my setup also look up the bulkheads and your holes will need to be almost 2 inch to hold. 1 1/2 inch bulkhead there is a chart I am sure you can find
The key to not having a emergency drain is in your sump make baffles so that your pump only has enough water in it that will not be enough to overflow your tank no matter what
My dump is a a 40 gallon breeder and I have 2 baffles if my drains get clogged then my return pump can only put 3.6 more gallons of water back up into my main tank. Where my overflow sits at I have a lot of extra room in my main tank so I have no worries about overflowing my main tank might kill the pump but no overflowing also the pump will still have water in the pipe so it won't be running dry really
