It's actually orange, reminds me of a reverse sunset monti. I hope it has a long life with me.

What separates a RBTA from a sun burst?

Yes, I think it's just a variant of Rose. I think other names from various sites are ultra rose and starburst? BTA.

Basically it's orange and greenish instead of red and greenish base. If I were to put a RBTA next to it and take a picture you would be able to tell the difference better.

Mine has white speckles all threw then disk! And is orange!!!!!!!!!!!! Ill get a pic i promise!

What type of camera do you use?! Those pics are amazing! Mine just come out blurry whenever I try shots like that. I have an Olympus 770. I also have an underwater housing for it for when I go SCUBA diving. Here is my website with most of my pics: www.aliveaquaria.com

Titus: Thanks! The camera I used was a Nikon D40 or something like that. It's not mine so I'm not familiar with the exact model.

That looks like a regular rose to me. I thought the sunbursts have distinct orage tips. Some have white speckles and some do not.

Trigger, I'm not savvy with all the names but I think those with the orange tips are sunfire?

Either way, I thought sunburst was just a variant of Rose bubbles. All I know is that when it was next to a regular rose bubble tip there was a marked difference in color.

I would really like to see pictures of others that have those flame tips that you are speaking of....those are really neat!


EDIT:: I just saw your links and mine looks like the second picture, especially from the top down. The first one is way cool!

There are also other anemones that have been coming in lately that are roses with orage tips which are being called flame tips or sunfires.
