Sun Coral Feeding

Unfortunately, I have to leave to New York to visit my family, so I wil have to leave my sun coral here, unfed. Its the red morph of sun coral.

I am leaving today at 1, so I can feed it for today, but it won't be able to be fed for saturday, sunday or monday.

Can it last that long with no feedings? Its a large colony, atleast 100 heads. What if I feed it alot before I go, it gets full since I feed large amounts of food at a time for one day (I feed O.N brand formula one food)

Thanks, and I may be able to feed it on monday.

Ummmm... not worded well. It will technically be alive for months, but it will probably take two weeks of no feeding or so before you really see any change in the coral. Three days isn't going to hurt anything.

Agreed. I go on two week dive trips couple times a year, and I've never had problems with my Tubastrea (not receiving food) when I'm gone for that long.

OK, in new york now. I guess it should be ok since I loaded it with food before I left. Thanks everyone, should be ok.
