I took some pictures of my sun coral the other night right before lights out. It was looking good for a 5-dollar frag from an old friend.
This morning, when I got home from work I looked in there and saw what looked like a morphed version of an open coral. The only problem was, it was slowly moving and in it wake... death!
I and a pair of long tweezers removed the little bastard! Have not flushed him yet but wondering if anyone can identify him....
Also, any idea if say killer will eat anthing else besides my sun coral?
He's currently being held without bail in my sump in a solitary confinement cell.
In this picture, he is at the top right side of the coral. This was a couple days ago and I did not know he was not a piece of coral...
In this picture he's on the back side where you really can not see him.
Here he is about 10:30 cst 09/18/2007...
and another...
And the last one of him posing in the tank admiring his handy work!
Thanks for any help on IDing him and maybe some tips on keeping him around.
