I heard that the pinkish orange part on my corals are dead, or it's about to die. Is that really true? Is that why they aren't opening more wider? I just bought them like a month ago... I see Improvement of them open more and eating apetize are improving as well.

If your sun coral is starting to die, you should see white skeleton, the pink, may just be its natural color =)

and i think if you keep feeding your sun coral, it'll open up nicely over time =)

I've got three different, tiny frags of yellow suns. The base colors (the colors you when they are closed) range from a bright orange to a dull pink. Nothing wrong with them, aside from maybe me not feeding them as much as I could. Keep feeding them and quit worrying :)

how long have you had these?
they might take a while to open when first introduced, just ralating my experiance,
you may also wann lower them,
why are they eleveated on that green thing?

Well, when It first place on the sand bed, they barely open. Once I elevated with the strawbarry basket, they opened more. I have them about 2weeks and It's now place in my main tank, in the middle, and on the a live rock.
