Vitor,

This is an amazing set up. Your design is inspirational! I would love to see something like this with an indoor out door tank. You could use one of the sides in a custom window that looked out into the tank from the house.

If I was you, I would leave the corals that you have and try not to add any more. With the amount of light that they are getting and the Ca/Alk and trace elements from natural sea water, the corals are likely to grow like weeds and fill in the void space. Before you know it, that Montipora is going to grow up to the glass!!! Just look at the growth tips on that Acropora!

I can't wait to watch this grow. Nice thinking about using the sunscreen and tackle problems before they occur.

Vitor, very cool tank. I love that you decided to do something so different from what's always being done. Thanks for posting all the pictures, this really is a fun thread. Continued success with your system. Can you give us a list of your livestock? Thanks again, great work!

Great idea Vitor! The best viewing angle for corals in any tank is from the top in my opinion. I always wish that I built my stand lower since viewing corals from the top is much more spectacular.

Congratulations on beating the electrical problem....I wish I could do something like that but I live in Northeastern US...gets really cold in the winter :(

Hi guys!

SERVO If this turns like you say, i promisse to send you some frags :D :D :D

Scottkelly911 Tank you for your inspiring words.
One of this days i'll try to right the live stock list

ikatobiko Like you said, for me the best viewing angle for corals in any tank is from the top, unfortunately a normal tank is necessary to turn off the pumpes to see this magnific view clearly.

Now for the update:

Build a new limewater reactor, the other was to old:

All in place (change the calcium reactor midia):

Amazing! Keep em coming!

One thing, watch that Pavona coral you showed in the last batch of pics. It looks like its isolated in the pic but make sure it is. I introduced it to my display a few years ago and the only way to get it out was removing a lot of live rock. I can only imagine how fast it will overtake things with natural sunlight as fuel!

I know the "pavona efect", in my opinion is the most agressive coral specie, nothing in a range of 2" survives it, that's a fact!
