What I'm saying is, you may be able to buy a control device for like $100 on Craigslist. An older iPod Touch with Wifi and smaller capacity. I don't know what they cost, but I know a friend who got one for $100.

I think Sunbrite now has an Android app to run these fixtures.... I just saw something about it on their website.
OK... the issue happened to me last night... i've had it unplugged for an hour or two before without having this issue... last night i had the lights unplugged for 3-4 hours... when i plugged it back in, it was at full blast... looks like the lights have to be unplugged for an extended period of time for it to happen... So i guess i'm ok as long as i don't have any extended periods of power outages... Another thing i noticed is that when the lights are supposed to be completely off, the leds still light up VERY VERY low... not sure if this will shorten the life of the bulbs....

Have you asked the manufacture about this yet? I recall that I read a post somewhere here on RC talking about something similar and the manufacture responded and I believe there was a fix or the owner did something wrong.

I'm loving my lights but I hope you aren't expecting the same output as your current setup. I replaced my 3x250w halide setup with the 60" fixture and the output at 100% would be close to the 250's but not quite. It won't come even close to a 400w setup.
Maybe there's something wrong with your fixture. I replaced my 3x250 as well. When I set it at 100% it was WAYYY brighter than my mh's. I have to turn it down to 60-70% to match output of my halides

Got my lights above my tank today. All I can say is WOW! Too early to tell but I'm very happy to be able to pull the MH from above my tank. Got the iPad and Droid apps working.
At first glance the only thing I would suggest is a good user manual. The four page "user manual" that you have to down load isn't clear to me. On the plus side the app is intuitive, thank goodness.
Also for the nob like me suggested brightness settings would be of benefit. I set my whites at 40% cus I read somewhere that I needed to adapt my corals but I don't have a clue if I'm doing anything right. I'm not sure if I'm using the dining feature correctly as well. For the cool factor the thunderstorm effect is awesome.

I don't understand the interface. Sometimes a portion of the day is shown white on the "clock" display and sometimes shown as subdued. I don't know why.
There is also a red arrow on the "clock" face. What is it for and what does it mean?
Also my settings for color balance are changing by themselves. IE: I set the White level at 40% and when I look at the program the next day it's 88%. What gives with that? I also set all my other levels at 75% and the next day they are at 80%.
Very confusing. Can anyone shed some light on these issues? No pun intended.

The new version of the app has been released in the app store and new user manual also added to our website under FAQs #16

Found the instruction manual. The confusing part is that it is located in the FAQ area and labeled as a Apple instruction manual.
The manual clears up a lot of questions I had. It was just not intutive as to it's location because of the Apple reference.
For the rest of you who have questions ignore the Apple reference and download the manual under FAQ #16.
