Yes, BTAs do like T-5 HOs. If it is on the top, near the surface of the water, it will get plenty of light.

Here are some good places to look for more info. on BTAs. Look forward to seeing your pics.

http://www.wetwebmedia.com/marine/inverts/cnidaria/anthozoa/bubbletipanemones.htm

Karen's Rose anemones, just google that and her website will come up.

Also, the anemone faq's at the top of this forum has information on BTAs (Entacmaea quadricolor).

Thanks I always forget to look for stickys lol

here is pic poor little guy

As you said, he's definitely bleached. But, with your lighting and good water conditions, most likely it will color back up and flourish for you.

yeah it has more color than what the camera could pick up , i can see green and red on the tips with my eye.

When it gains its color back I think i am going to put it in species only tank.

it would be best to put in a tank w/o clowns till it regains color/health! I have also brought back a anemone that looked like yours, sm amount of color on tips of tentacles. It can be done just need good water and sm portions of food and a regular schedule! Good luck keep us posted on the lil guy!

Very good to hear. Keep us posted, pics are especially nice;-)
I tried to get pics but the camera will not pic up the color it will look just like the pic I posted lol I will try again tonight.

I still have this little guy he has FINALLY stop moving around my tank and found his spot of course in the corner on front panel of glass lol

anyways he looks way better in the new spot, it has bubble yips again.

It has not grown , what should I try feeding it ? I been feeding it pellets but I don't think they are helping .

Mysis, krill any frozen marine based food would work. Thaw with a few drops of zoe or selcon is you aren't already. I am sure you know already but I have to say keep the pieces small. I have a couple that started to belach on me as well. This is going to be a very long process, good luck.

I agree w/ Lmecher sm portions of meaty food soaked in some type of vitimans. Id try about every 3 days. Thats what i do w/ alll my anemones and they are happy as can be.

Thanks guys I will buy some selcon and mysis or krill. I have another question. I notice a ring of like slim or detritus around the base of the anemone . Is it some kind of shedding from the anemone ?

Here is a pic.. see that brown stuff at the base? When it moves it leaves it there.
