Are these fish jumpers? I run an open top tank and would love to get one but am unsure if I should use my DIY netting cover for my tank to help keep this beauty from taking the leap of faith or not .

Never heard of them jumping. I have one, never had a problem... although I do also have an enclosed canopy. I don't think you will have a problem.

ALL fish will jump just some are more likely than others. They are cave dwelers so you probobly shouldn't have a problem. I would just be cautious.
