Suncoast acrylic 250 skimmer ?

Anyone have any experience with the locally made Suncoast acrylic skimmers. specifically the 250 model with a pump feed and a recirculator pump. Are they any good?

Other than buying a better pump for them, thry aren't bad skimmers..

there top notch for the money the difference between the high end skimmers on the market besides the price is that the heads haven't been tuned and they use a nw impeller instead of a paddle wheel

hey has your skimmer been off still ? do you have a pic of your skimmer and pump,?

Yea its still down, but I'm picking up emsters euroreef CS8-2 this weekend. It should be an upgrade to the octopus. Thanks for your help
