Sunday Swap Scheduel

Okay Lana I have your sand but there is not a lot of it. Also for those of you who remember when the meetings were at the Californian, the Clubs project tank was there. The old light from it is available if anyone needs it. Just donate a frag to the tank or make a donation that can be used to purchase something for the Club Tank.

I put one my old 4 X 65 watt PC unit on the Club Tank.
 
I don't need a lot of sand, Mary. Just enough that newbies get the idea. I need to go to Barry's tomorrow to see if he'll loan me some reef bones for the demo.

Ron, is there a stand at the funeral home of some kind that will hold the weight of a 10 gal w/water and rock? Would rather not do the demo on the floor and I don't have a table strong enough.

Aleesa, I have a couple small tables I can bring but don't have room with all the A/V stuff to carry a big table.
 
Okay Lana I have the sand ready. Maybe can even pull you out a couple of base rock type rocks. Let me know if you want them too.
 
Who wants to be a greeter for the day? It IS a fun thing to do. Say hello to your friends and introduce new people into our group. Don't make me resort to bribing!

Needing other FOOD items******I haven't heard anything!....we have always ran out of food so don't worry about wasting anything!

Ron, did you find a LARGE trash can to put in hall? We really need a central location for trash. The other cans are small and always overflowing.

We need a small table for the greeter. Enough room to pick up name tags and to sign the guest book. Any type table will do!

We need an extra table to add to existing food table. This has always been split between the doorway because of lack of space. People flow pattern would be less congested around entrance if all food and drinks consolidated in one area.

Naturally we congregate around the food so let's move the food table back a little bit to allow greeter table in front of entrance.

We are getting down to the wire on planning! Bigger and better everytime! Let's go guys
 
does anyone video tape these demos? I am not able to attend the meeting but would like to see the new tank demo.?. as well as the others...
 
I don't think anyone if video taping them at this point although I always try to get lots of pictures then put together a step by step scrapbook page for it. Sorry I missed some of the demo pages last meeting. I did a couple of them but did not get them uploaded and posted right then and they disappeared on me, I haven't been able to find them. I am sure they are in the computer somewhere, I just can't find them, So If you did a demo and did not see a page posted for it that is mostly the reason.

Hey People, I use to get to do this back in the early days. I ended up knowing who everyone was. I enjoyed this so much. But then I got moved up or over, depending on how you look at it so now I never have time for this at the meetings. But I so miss it. I promise this is the best job of any and a very important one too.

So someone please volunteer. I promise you won' t regret it. If I wasn't going to be busy taking pictures I would love to do it.
 
Mary you mentioned in your previous post that you have put together a step by step scrap book for some previous demos.....where would these be located that you did get done....as a new club follower (would say member but haven't been to a meeting yet) i would like to read some...
 
i can bring some ice ,and a bag of chips i prob wont be there till 1:30 though, any particular reason for the time change from 2 to 1pm? just curious?
 
i asked ron to change the time in case of a visitation it would give me extra time for a visitation that would start at 5 i can usually make sure there isnt one but you never know
