My tank has TONS of sundial snails and I take them out but I literally have 100s and 100s and 100s... Anyway I have no more zoanthids obviously... lol but my question is do these snails eat anyt other corals or anything?
Set a trap, get a decent zoa colony, place it in, give it some time. all the snails congregate for food, get it out and dip.
Unless you like them and aren't opposed to them eating zoas you try to put in. Personal preference my friend. That 30 dollars for a meal, is usually something I reserve for my wife, not snails
As far as I know thats there main stay diet.
Goodluck
Are you sure that you have them? There is a very similar looking snail that is an algae grazer. Can you post a picture?
I can't remember the exact name of the other snail right now, but they could be confused, and if you have this many I suspect you have the beneficial algae eater.
Just found a link - these are the common, harmless, algae eating version:
I'll see about a photo.. ophiuroid those look just like them.. but zoas dont last in my tank so I do have issues.. I've pretty much given up on them for the time being..
