Sunlight Supply Tek Question

I have the Sunlight Supply Tek T5 8bulb 54w light fixture and have had it for roughly 4 years without any problems. I just recently bought all new bulbs and now when i turn it on, only the front 4 bulbs come on and the back turn on for a brief second then go out. Any ideas how to fix this issue?

Could it have anything to do with the new bulbs or does it sound like a short of some sort? Shoudl I attempt to clean out any currision around the connectors?

have you played with the bulbs? if one bulb is bad it would kill the other on the same circuit.

I had the same problem with a different light. Rotate the lights that aren't working a bit. Most likely one of them has a bad connection and is causing the whole bank to go out.

I second trying to play around with the bulbs to make sure its not a "flaw" in one of tem thats killing the circuit. I also second rotating the bulbs... I had a tek lite a while back that had the same problem, and rotating the bulbs did the trick. HTH
