This is my first experience with MH and I feel a little stupid. Shouldn't the fixture turn on every time you press the on switch, even if you just turned it off? Does the lamp need to rest in between (sounds really dumb even as I write this). I took off the lamp cover to check that the lamp was secure. I'm not even really sure how to accomplish that small task. I grabbed the outer ends of the bulb and pushed gently to make sure it was seated. Still, it sometimes doesn't turn on, or sputters. After I wait awhile and try the switch again, it works. I bought this fixture less than a month ago from DFS.
My last question is how do you replace the bulb? Does it pull straight up?
