Sunpower with only blue plus bulbs

I've heard it will make your corals turn green but I understand one of the guys From Two Guys Corals runs all blue+ so I'm not sure about that.

I have a 4 bulb sunpower on a 40 breeder and i am thinking of onoybrunning blue plus bulbs. Any downside?
I just replaced my true actinic with blue plus. I don't know what your preference is color wise but I don't think I would like it with just those. Looks great when the halide comes on though.

Jason fox runs only blue's. T5's and reef brites on most of his tanks. Check out the vid that jake adams did. I'm trying it. Over his 400 cube he runs retro fit t5's and a few xho reef brites. Lights seem to be hung a good 12in above the tank.

What bulbs are you thinking? Most aren't all blue.. at least not to the eye as compared to blue LEDS

I would be surprised if you like the look... it's washed out to my eye

I’ve also heard of some reefers using only blue plus bulbs... I don’t think the corals would mind but they may shift away from their full potential coloration.. not to mention you not seeing the coral in it’s full potential...
And I think personally, I would find it boring to only see that all day long..
