I'm pretty sure now that those are millepora spathulata. The lfs told me that the millies are coming from aussie.

Beware of the spathulatas. They are gorgeous but do horrible in captivity. Rarely do they keep their crazy colors and they grow slower than molasses....

+1 love these but doesn't hold color for me and if you look at it funny it will RTN . But if in the cheap section I'll pick it up

I agree as well.

And for the record millipora is not a genus of SPS coral, it is a species of acropora.

Correct:
Acropora Millepora
Acropora Spathulata

Incorrect:
Millepora Spatulata

To be even more correct, while the genus is capitalized, the specie is not.

Acropora millepora
Acropora spathulata

There is a genus Millepora but those are fire corals and I don’t know anyone who keeps those.

I do love the fat conical growth form of spathulatas, but the one or two I tried didn't do well. A. monticulosa has a similar growth form and is a bit more tank friendly.

To beceven more correct, both should be italicized. :wildone:

I think I will pass on it now I heard that it's very hard to keep color. Also scared that it's impossible to frag with those thick branches.
