I have to agree with everyone else on this one, I too think it's a starburst cap. Lighting, stress, or a multitude of other things could have made the polyps temporarily green. The color you have now is the correct color for the coral. Though that purple grafting is nice and the polyps seem to have a greenish tone to them.

Yes after seeing multiple pictures online. I have to agree with the guys on this one as well. But when I got it the polyps were bright green.

Be happy you got a starburst instead lol I believe there more expensive than sunset Montis. Sell a chunk and get yourself a sunset monti frag again

All of my other Monti caps don't plate upwards like on some pics of other Monti caps. Why do you think that is ? I have a red cap , green cap and this starburst cap.

could be various things flow, lighting, lvls, placement, just give them time to keep growing out and form.

Yes it's very cute.

When I got my coral it was green and orange. Now it's yellow and orange. I made a mistake and so did the LFS that sold it to me. It's not going to be my first or my last. I'm not perfect.
