Super Glue Anenome?

Sure. You could super glue your fish too then you'll always know where they are! :) If you've only been in the hobby for a month you should not be thinking of an anenome. Wait 6 months and let your tank mature.

No one is picking on anyone. I was kidding with him. He asked a question and was answered with advice on keeping the animal. I don't even want to know how you know superglue sticks to xenia supernerd lol.

Could I super glue an anenome into place so it wouldnt wander around and kill my coral?

No you can't. I agree, that you shouldn't probably even have one in your tank yet.

Xenia is difficult to kill if your tank condition is right. Tiny tissue will grown into a colony. Xenia can adhere to rock if you keep it in place for a day or so. Super glue will kill a small part of the Xenia, but this is not detrimental to Xenia. The remain will attach to the rock and grow. After a day or so, the Xenia stick to rock because it grow n to it, not because of the super glue.
Anemone on the other hand are difficult creature to care for. Any wound will likely lead to infection that will kill the anemone.

Anemone will move to where it like, and stings, kills coral along the way if the anemone is healthy.

Defiently dont glue it, let your tank mature for a good 6 months before you consider... and then at 6+ months when and if your ready, make sure you have good lights (more then power compacts) before you have a try with an anemone... Just keep reading up and asking...

your on the right track asking questions :)

:lmao: I heard about it from other reefers on RC. Never tried it myself because I'm afraid of personally getting stuck to something as well.
