I was fraging my Blue Tinius yesterday . when I was done I wiped the tank with a rag.I have no idea how the glue got on the rag,but it did.I do not want to touch it until I have all the facts.Anyone ever have this happen or am I the only idoit. How did you remove the super glue without damage to the tank. The tank is glass thank God.I know a razor will take it off.It will also scratch my tank. What about Goof Off?Nail Polish Remover?I am in need of HELP.Thanks as always.

Razor will be fine...It wont necessarily scratch your tank. It's what people use every day to scrape algae off of glass tanks. You could try nail polish remover but I would first try it on the back of the tank or something to see if it causes any hazing or anything.

I wouldn't use any of the volatiles: the chance of the fumes getting to the water is too great, and some are oily, even worse. Use a razor and a magnifying glass, and maybe one of those plastic scouring pads (like Brillo but plastic) you use on teflon, if you have a bit that just won't give.

I've done it too. I would suggest a large razor blade. One of those box cutter types. The extra blade length will help keep it flush on the glass and less likely to scratch. Keep the angle constant and you'll be fine.
