Super glue?

I've done it to some zoa polyps that had their mat dissolve when they didn't acclimate well.

Use super glue gel. Take the poylps out of the water and blot the base dry with a paper towel. Put a small amount of glue on the base and press and hold them gently onto a rock (either dry or partially dried with a paper towel). Hold for ~30 seconds then let them stay out of the water for a few minutes. Return them to the water and cross your fingers! A few polyps took a second try to make them stay.

Yeah, a few zoa polyps that came un-glued after a day or so.

I glue my zoa frags to marbles, so that when they grow, they are easier to peel off, since the marble is smoother than say a rock.

Don't they get blown around the tank by water current?
Good idea, especially if you can cut the marbles in half.

No, they are heavy enough to sink, and I place them under my powerhead, so the flow doesn't hitthem directly, but indirectly, so that they cna get enough flow to grow.

Cutting them in half wouldn't be too hard.

Cut a scratch deep into the center of the marble to place a razor blade edge in, then hit the razor blade handle with a hammer. Done.

Maybe you have the latest and greatest in frag media?

Have you tried going down to a tile place and asking for flat broken pieces of marble? This way your zoas can grow larger then circular marble size.
