Super Reef Octopus 1000 skimmers

Do these skim very well?

I'm lookin to get this for a 75 gallon tank with a 30 gallon sump. It has an average bioload. I haven't seen many people talk about the bubble blaster 1000 model. Thanks alot!

Hi,

I haven't personally ran the 1000 yet, but have a couple of other models, and they do work well. I would take a look at either the 1000 or 2000 for your size system. Anything bigger is going to be overkill.

I ordered a Super Reef Octopus 1000 from Premium Aquatics about 3 weeks ago. Called this week and still no firm update as to when the skimmer will be in. They said sometime this month. I'm pretty excited to get this skimmer and will try to put together a little review when it comes in.

Ordered a 1000 internal today. They said they got their shipment in this weekend.
