Super Tongan Nassarius Snail Q?

I heard these are great for cleaning all the settlements at the bottom, but they like to escape. Is this true?

I have 5 of them in my tank.

They stay burried in the sand until I add meaty food. As soon as the food hits the water they pop out and cruise around the tank looking for food.

I've never had one go above the water line. Although they do climb up the sides of the tank in search of food when it's just added to the tank.

Here is one of mine searching for a Formula One pelet I had just dropped in the tank:

That's exactly what mine do. They've never climbed above the water line.
