Have you seen micro zoas as super bright as these? For reference, there are GSPs and Captain America palys nearby. PlasmaOrb microzoas:

I really don't see the point of looking at zoas in plain white lights. The appeal of zoas are due to their florescence, not how they appear under white day light IMO. That's what sticks are for - mostly high light shallow water creatures with amazing coloration in bright day light. Just my 2 cents.

Cheers!

I disagree and think that when people post pictures like these it reminds me of those black velvet posters and black spot lights Spencers Gifts sold/sell in the mall.

Again just my opinion and that is why this hobby can have something for everyone.

Agreed, my tank looks like windex and you've never seen better colors. I get that it's a personal preference and not for everyone, but personally I buy corals because when I look at them I like to see the best colors they can produce which is impossible without a blue tank.

As far as your zoas they're fairly common Aussie/Indo orange zoanthids that happen to pop under your lighting, nothing too rare about them and they're not microzoas.

I'm not a fan of blue either , but to each their own:)

Fwiw your zoas are dragon loops aka reverse fruitloops

Cheers
