Acroholic.......I have 2 250's & 1 400 SE 20K w/the Superman right under the 400.

Well, I am just going to leave mine where it is and see if the new 10K's wake it up.......according to Sanjay my PPFD will be around 172 with these bulbs..almost double what my crappy 12K's are doing now.....

We got our replica "Superman" around 4 months ago. It freaked on us, so we fragged it into 4th's (in the 180) and left the base in the 90. We have experienced good growth in both tanks. The interesting part is the contrast in color. In the 180, the lighting is 400W, 14K. Two frags are above middle and are almost purple in color with fantastic polyp extension. The 90 burns 250W, 14K. The same coral is more true to the colors (blue with red polyps) expected from a Superman.

I am using the 12K Sunbursts.....I really like the color of these bulbs but the PPFD is way low.....I bought these bulbs before I knew about Lord Sanjay.....and the worst part is.....is that I have 3 more brand new 12K Sunbursts still unopened in boxes....that I purchased as extras.....arrrggghhh

you can always sell them online or to someone in the club. I use the 10k reefluk and love them but after reading the reports on evc I think I will try those next time. They are also very cheap.

Yes...they are very cheap. But that is the part that scares me a bit. I know they are made in Asia....so, with that being said....I do have concerns of the quality of these bulbs.
Even though, from what I have read they seem to be fine so far..and color is consistant from bulb to bulb which is important to me.

Dacro: I have been reading that alot about blue SPS lately, where blues are more purple nearer the lights and more true blue down away from the lights......

So far I am happier with the quality of my EVC bulbs than I am with the Reeflux that I tried. I haven't heard of anybody else having problems with EVC either.
