Supplementing Tuxedo Urchin's Diet... pls suggest

I have a tuxedo urchin that is eating my algae like mad! (YAY!!!)

I am concerned that it will, somehow, finish it! So, in order to keep this guy alive, what should I supplement it with? Is Nori OK? What constitutes a complete, nutritional diet for this guy?

Thx!

I don't know about urchins, but my seahare loves nori! One of the local pet shops has a tank or two with hair algae in them, so I am always begging to help clean their tanks by removing it for them. I clip it to the glass for the seahare and he sure does love it. I also keep my tank lighting on a little bit longer than normal to promote the bad algae growth for him. I also take him for mini vacations to my sister-in-laws house to clean out her 20 gallon for her as it is hard for her to find the time w/ 5 little boys running around. Probably not the best solution for you, but it works for my seahare. Just throwing out some ideas for you:)

Love the traveling sea hare story Lunabud. Always wanted one but don't have enough hair algae to keep it happy.

Newreeflady, nori should be fine for your tuxedo urchin. My green pincushion urchin likes to munch on dried seaweed for something different from tank algae

I have bought Nori from chefmattisse.com (I think that is the correct address). Anyway, much cheaper than from LFS as you can buy in bulk as sushi supply. I kept it in the freezer in ziplocks. Lasted forever at several hundred sheets.
