Have you changed your support hours? I attempted to call Friday early afternoon, to get support on Vortech's and ESL, but get a recording stating that no one is available.

Took off work early so I could speak with someone, this is so aggravating.
 
Indeed it is very aggravating, especially for the $$ they command. I left a message and never received a return call. I hear they have excellent customer service hopefully this is an anomaly.
 
yep, called and left email Thursday. I did get a robo email back saying they got the email and I called late and they are closed on Fridays according to the answering machine. My question was upgrading a Gen 1 to Gen 3 XR30 that I have owned for about a month - but also wanted the fan replaced or fixed as it was getting loud. I don't want to sent the light to them for the retro -fit until I speak with someone about costs, etc. for the fan service. So, I guess I will wait for them to contact me. Anybody replace this fan by themselves- fan cost, difficulty?

Edit: OK , the website has replacement fan cost= $25 - wonder how much they will charge for labor? The light is less than 3 years old = I hope the next fan last longer than that. I think the prior owner of the light did not clean the fan "ever"- so in all fairness - NOT really Ecotech's issue.

Great even less support hours, so I guess it's better for us to take off on a Wednesday now instead of a long weekend. Ridiculous, if true.

Our support hours remain the same 9-5 EST Monday through Friday. We did have to close our phone lines Friday as the entire Customer Service team was at Reef-A-Palooza in NJ this past weekend. That said, all customers who left a voicemail Friday or over the weekend have been contacted.
 
Yep- got a call on 7/1 to discuss the upgrade and I think the light is already back at my house = all done in one week. However, the LED's for the retrofit for the G1 to G3 upgrade were back ordered - so I got a discount for LED's that were "refurbished". I hope they work out - I did not want to wait for who knows how long ?? for new LED's - I wish they would have let me know before I sent in the light - I would have just waited to send it in. But with the wide angle lenses and the refurbished LED's the light should be significantly better than the original G1.
