Surface Skimmer for BioWheel150

I have a BioWheel 150 that I have modified as a fuge for my 7.5 tank. I had an issue with my impeller getting stuck and the pump freezing because sand got sucked in. Where can I find an attachment that will go over the intake that creates a surface skimmer? Note: The intake tube is rectangle, I know there are some ones out here but they are all for connecting to a circular connection.

i would just make one...if you want it square that is easy enough if you can use acrylics...if not round will work...just a piece of 1" PVC with a cap on the bottom of it will work, i am sure if you got creative with a dremel you could make it attach to the square intake pretty easy...otherwise an acrylic one could be made to hang off the back of the tank...
