Survey: Best Plant/Algae for Fuge

What is/are the best plant(s) for a refugium? I have had 2 kinds of caulerpa and both have gone sexual on me even with 24/7 lighting. Is there an "ideal" fuge plant that is stable and also efficient at nutrient export? I am now trying chaetomorpha + tang heaven red (?) + ulva.

Hey Joel,

How are the Chaetomorpha, tang heaven red (Gracilaria I think), and Ulva growing for you? I like Chaetomorpha best but I haven't had any big problems with caulerpa going sexual on me (other than some "sawblade" caulerpa). I grow C. racemosa, C. taxifolia, C. prolifera, and C. paspaloides. There is also a little bit of two wierd Caulerpas that came in on some Kaelini live rock I have. I have some Gracilaria but it hasn't grown that well for me. Ulva doesn't do so hot for me either. My fuge is lit 24/7.
