Survival of BTA's in mixed reef tank?

Hi,
I'm curious to know how many people had success in keeping BTA's in a mixed reef tank (Soft corals+ LPS) for more than a year. And if so, did you use activated carbon or any other chemical filtrations to keep the nems happy.

Thanks

I have. No carbon just protein skimmer and no touching between BTA's and most corals. Corals that are a little bit tolerant are Nepthea, leathers, Anthelia and mushrooms. Absolutely no touching for LPS or SPS.

I have had a rbta in my reef tank for over a year. I have a lot of softies and LPS. I have always ran activated carbon. I run a bag under my overflow pad, change it monthly. No other chemical filtration but I use a skimmer. I keep my water as perfect as possible with 10g water change weekly(tank 37g) It is very happy and healthy has grown very large, waiting and hoping for it to split but it has not and I take that as a good sigh.

I've had mine for more than 4years. I have never used carbon, just protein skimmer. All of my corals are doing well.
