Although I have to admit I'm not sure they'd do a group buy. And actually, they haven't sold any fish direct in a while. A group buy would be a conflict of interest since both the Critter and Emerald Bay sell their fish.

Yes like Brandon said about conflict of interest if we like to do group buy we need to go through Chris at aquatic critter or ebay. I was trying to get one giong for there Snowflake Clown and Grade A or B Picasso Percula

I saw the group buy tab on the SA site, but some other links were broken so that site might not be current. I filled out the contact form. If anyone gets back with me I will post the latest. If SA won't sell to us the critter is a good back up plan. thanks all for the info.

Can we just go down there again, I didn't get to go last time. May 15th good for anyone? I know there was a few others that wanted to try to go visit who didn't get to go the first time too. If no takers on that, I am down for a group buy too thru a LFS or direct I want to get a black and white pair for my new office build.

I think there was someone that just moved from east TEN that helped Matt setup SA. Maybe that person can talk Matt into leting us do a ather visit. Because I talk to some of the guys at the swap. They said that was ones in life time opportunity. They don't want people to contaminate there tanks.Not say that we would. I know ORA don't let people go in the greenhouse for the same reason.

Sorry about the website; it's old and I can't even delete those tabs since the format for the website is really strange (or I have to pay $100 to have our web company do it...frustrating)--we're working on a plan to make a new website though (NOT through the same company!) to update all the new stuff/news at SA. Donny was helping us with that too, but he had to move to Nashville
It would be best to coordinate a group-buy effort through a local shop, as it's not our policy to sell direct (this protects our customers from direct competition with us). I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but it wouldn't be very nice of us to sell direct and leave the retail shops hanging.
If there is a local shop willing to organize this with the club, it might make an easier task of the logistics of payment/pickup. I probably can't/shouldn't say too much on here, but we'll work with the organizing store to get good fish and pricing. Make sure to ask for the full availability list

Hosting companies are notorious for way overcharging people on site maintenance, and they generally protect access to the code so you can't get someone else to do it. Will they give you access to it via FTP or anything? I can help you guys solve the website issues. Just let me know if you want my help.
About the group buy; I would think that either of the LFS would special order something if SA has it, and since we already get a discount at the LFS, what would would be the benefit to us?
