anyone keep both in the same room. i moved 2months ago and now have the tanks and the computer in my office. has anyone noticed any effects on the comouters from this.
Just out of curiosity. What is the humidity in that room compared to the rest of the house? A/C should be pulling the added moisture out of the air. The houses are dryer in the winter from the furnace. I would not worry about it.
I forsee no problems. If you're worried about the salt corroding the parts inside the computer there's no need, salt does not evaporate. Unless your tank is RIGHT next to your computer humidity shouldn't be a big deal either.
You're fine...computers can withstand super high temps...you'd be sweating before you would have to worry about it overheating, just make sure your fans aren't blocked.
they aren't obstructed as i have 3 fans that blow out the internal air of the cpu as well as a digital thermometer that reads the temp of the mother board.
