Whos doing what.

I have a few small door prizes, the prize for the photo contest, guest book.

I will be doing a Q/A for beginners and a briefing on the year goals for the CVRC. I will also try to remember to bring the shark rescue footage from last meet if anyone is interested in seeing it.

Frankie will be the official greeter at the door.

I'll do cookies again. If I have time I'll make a couple kinds instead of the oatmeal by themselves I'm sure Brian will chime in after he finds out about the availability of the AV equipment.

For those of you who don't know the one I had ended up in saltwater. Anyway the new one shipped on Monday of this week.

We need:
1). ice for drinks (please bring it in a cooler) - ???
2). drinks-your choice pop, tea etc. - ???
(we need a couple of people to divide expense)
3). chips & dip or vegetable & dip - ???
4). Cookies - Lana has covered this!
5). Paper Goods- plates,napkins,cups,trash bags - Aleesa
6). Triple fudge Brownies - Ryan
7). Cake - Aleesa

Does bobbing for zoanthids sound like an OK game to everyone?
thats a joke people, zoas are poison that makes it funny at least to me.

Anyway stand up and be heard on this matter like Lana said this needs to be the biggest turnout for a non-auction event the CVRC has seen. We have several new people showing up at this one, so feel free to repeat yourself if you already have a demo you have gone over before it will be new to someone.

I forgot about the valentine theme. Guess that means I'll have to make decorated heart shaped sugar cookies.

Make any cookies you want! You don't have to decorate them unless you want to! We love all cookies, especially when home made! We are going to decorate the room with a Valentine theme so you might want to bring some type of decoration to sit on your table! Thanks for volunteering the cookies by the way!

Who is going to do a demo? I think it would be cool to see a demo on how to build a calcium reactor. That would be great!

Or how to wire various ballasts and lighting set-ups

Or how bout a CL demo

Or a how to build a plenum system

Or how to build an evaporative tank chiller

Or how to make frag plugs

Or how to frag a blasto, I know someone who has one that can be fragged but does not have the tools to do it

How about how to build a surge device.

As for building a calcium reactor, unless you have someplace to get the acrylic tubing super cheap, it is cheaper to buy it already build. I was going to build mine til I realized I could buy it already made cheaper.




let me see which attachment is stuck on my dremel. If it is the one I can put the cutting wheel on then we can frag your blasto. But my dremel has fragged to many saltwater pieces, the attachments are stuck on it.

As always I have to work, but I'm putting the word out!! Mark me down for another $20 Gift Certificate and I'll donate a couple nice frags of the plague pocillipora if Amy wants to pick them up, they will be unmounted but that might be another idea, "how to mount frags"
