Big thanks go out to MTRC for hosting the swap today. It was a rousing success and the hard work showed!

Yes indeed, AWESOME job to all that put it on, and Thanks to Dr. Sanjay Joshi for the talk, if found it extremely beneficial while still being on a level that a hobbyist can understand and appreciate, as well as apply.

Sarah and I would like to say thank you very much for the excellent frag swap, fish purchase, raffle prize win, education and camaraderie!
Thanks!

Thanks from Don and I, We had a great time and got some nice frags. Thanks, for the salt it will come in handy as we start our new 90 frag tank.

Very successful swap. You guys did it again. M@ry Ruth and I enjoyed seeing some of the regulars and meeting some new people. Kudos to all of you.

i had a great time at the swap, thanks to everyone that made it out

does any one have the lighting on video i wanted to see but i missed it?

I'm just glad that I'll get more than 5 hours of sleep for the first night this week.

I felt like the turn out was close to expected and from the sounds of it, everyone was buying stuff. Thanks to the whole club for helping man tables, keep things organized, and jump in to help where needed.

I have to give a special thanks to Norman for doing most of the arranging of the location and dealing with all of the various location-related issues at the swap today.

Thanks to Wayne (and Norman) for handling all of the arrangements for getting Sanjay to the swap. I thought he gave a great talk, was definitely fun to talk to and hang out with, and I really hope he enjoyed himself.

Thanks to Brandon for putting together a slide show (we'll have to do better about using something like this for the next swap and/or finding a way to use it for another meeting) and helping with spreading the word about the swap.

Jack, thanks for running the mic today and keeping things timed out and rolling (I'm not a real strict schedule keeper type but it is necessary to keep things moving) and for the help nailing down some of the donations.

Moriah also deserves a shout out for putting up with me over the past couple of weeks and for throwing together some great signage for the swap. She also spent a LOT of time manning the tables by the door (which also prevented me from having to worry about those).

On the note of working tables at the swap, I want to give a special shout out to the Pierson girls for doing such a great job of running the raffle table and getting MTRCers their membership cards. And really the whole club should be thanking them, because they freed you all up to be able to enjoy the swap without having to get folks on those tables.

While I'm at it, I just want to say thanks again to the sponsors. We could not afford to put on an event like this and allow free admission without a lot of support. We had at least 2x as many vendors attend our swap this year. It seems they contributed to the enjoyment of the show for most people and I hope we can have many of them back in the coming years.

Finally, a swap is nothing without a lot of hobbyists buying, selling, and trading. I was pleased to see a lot of new and old faces. I hope that everyone learned something, made some new friends, and found just the corals they wanted.

And Brian, thank you for taking the helm on all of this stuff, bro. :) The fragging demo was also worthy of special mention.

I definitely want to thank all of the sponsors as well. Without them, these things wouldn't happen as the raffle provides the fundage to put this stuff on! Huge thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets, too!

Thanks for coming to all who did! I was worried that with all of the potential "problems" we are facing that many people may not come out, but you guys came and rocked it!

The swap was great. I thank everyone who was involved and all the hard work that made it turn out so nice. I apologize once again for not being were I signed up for but after I woke up to my house flooded it was hard to stay on trck the rest of the day not to mention the time I lost trying to fix the problem. I think I used every towel in my house and anything else that would soak up some water. Once again thank all of you and hopefully I will be more help next time.

I would also like to give a special thanks to Moriah for reminding me that i should dip all my corals. Since this was my first swap i had not really though about since i usually just get my stuff from people in the club that i trust. So thank you for possible saving me a lot of headache and heartache.

I had a great time at the swap. The new location is excellent!! I got some nice frags and won a raffle prize. Thanks for all the hard work, it was well worth the 3hr drive from Memphis.

Sounds like everyone had fun:)

I just want to know if the ETRC table heckled Jack again.

Chris
No heckling without Mel there

It was a lively crowd and it looked like folks had a great time. Sanjay's talk, the fragging demo and beginner's slide-show were all very well attended. I'll try to get some pics up later today :D
