So anyone make any decisions about going to the swap yet?
Only a week from this coming Saturday.

Update: With over $10,000.00 in raffles can you REALLY miss it?

Interested in carpooling for gas savings - post or pm me!

I am going but staying in Nashville overnight
Too bad we don't have a JARC T shirt although I have seen it before. I might pass a lot of you there without knowing who you are.
Markus, can we have another round of T shirts for CLub members, and membership cards?

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and haven't actually plunged into salt but I have/am heavily into the freshwater planted tanks and kind of stumbled across this searching for someone in the area that carries .

But anyway, I was curious about this swap coming up, is this a saltwater only thing?

I was also curious if JARC was a saltwater only thing? I came from east Tn where it seems clubs and stores were abundant and hadn't found many in this area that share my enthusiasm for the hobby!

Hi and welcome to the forum!

The upcoming frag swap is just a saltwater deal and the club is pretty much a saltwater club as well but I know you will find most of the people in here either started with, or still have freshwater tanks.

The only non big business fish store in the area would be Fishy Business in Lexington. They have both fresh and saltwater available there.

I am also not aware of any freshwater fish clubs in the region.

Welcome to the forum. I put up the frag info on our website:
www.jacksonreefclub.com

Look at the meeting page and also the calendar for updates. You are also welcome to join the club via our website as well.

Markus, can we have another round of T shirts for CLub members, ...

Snakeman is our hookup for club T-shirts. You will have to get him a color and size, and he can tell you the price in case they have gone up.

and membership cards?

Our person that did the membership cards didn't have time for meetings and didn't pass on the club template. I'll try to find another person to do some up.

I'm not sure if I am going to the swap, Dave. I spent all last weekend on a 2 day kayaking trip on Jacks Fork River in Missouri. The weather was nice and the water was crystal clear. We set up camp on the side of the river before dark and continued on the next morning. It was my first time ever in a Kayak. My wife was home with our 3 boys and 2 of their friends. I will be going to Florida for 4 days the following week, so she will have a crew of kids again by herself. You can never have too much time or money for hobbies. :)

I have a lamination machine and color laser at home Marcus so if you want me to go ahead and put something together I can. Just shoot me the info I will need for it.
