Sweet bulkheads!

Just picked up a very odd bulkhead over at CRS yesterday.
It's like none I have ever seen.

It's VERY buff and sturdy feeling, and it even has reverse threads on the nut (No idea why or what pourpse that serves).

The threads are crazy deep, compare to the other bulkhead in the background in the picture.

I just installed this one on my new grow out tank, and its worked wornders so far.
Just thought it was very weird as I have not seen bulkheads like this anywhere before..

Has anyone else seen these before?
Am I the last one to the party?

I've seen the Banjo bulkheads made out of Polypropylene which are "higher quality" industrial grade compared to the plastic PVC type. Very nice find!

Those do look nice.. first time seeing ones like that for me. How was the price compared to a "regular" bulkhead ?

I'm not sure what they sizes they come in, this one was a 3/4,
and it cost $12.00

Thanks Steve. I will need to check to see if they have 1" bulkheads. I can find nice quality 3/4" bulkheads but haven't been able to find decent 1" bulkheads.
