Just thought I'd share this sweet score w/ my fellow So Cal Reefers.
As you may know, the Mrs & me tied the knot May 27th in Laguna Beach. The night before the wedding, we were having rehearsal dinner at the Royal Hawaiian restaurant. The restaurant has recently been sold & there was extensive remodeling going on inside. As a result, the a/c wasn't working up to snuff & it was getting quite hot & muggy in the place. I stepped out back to catch some fresh air when low & behold, what do I see??.................a 100 gallon glass tank sitting in the alley!!! I ask one of the waiters what they plan to do w/ the tank. He says he doesn't know but he will get the owner of the restaurant. The owner comes up to me & says "Were you the one inquiring about the tank?" "Yes I am" I said. "It's yours" he replied. ..........................Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!! Best wedding present we got (IMO..........her favorite present was another choice.)
So now I've got this new 100 gallon tank to setup & plan!!!!
Cleaned it today................no scratches!!!!!!!!
Measures 60" x 18" x 24"...................now it's time to start adding all the goodies for it!!!!!!
