SWF.com ordering people

AC does have tigger pods and I think its arcti pods? For like $25 a bottle. I seen the pods when I got my fish and like Angela said, looks like a bag of green water. Hopefully they will make good of it. Especially with a order that was over $500.

thats not bad for the tiger pods at ac then. there the ones i usually see online for 20 bucks so by the time you pay shipping it would be cheaper to get them from ac. Ill have to get some of them when can make it up that way. anyone want to buy some pods for only $12.99 lol

when we got our pods home we looked at the bag under a white led light and you could see them alot better. there was a ton of them but they were really small so we will see if they get eaten up or actually grow out. atleast i got a better deal then if i would have went to my lfs because the snails cost 3 bucks a piece there so that would have cost me 30 alone just for the snails so i got 5 bucks off and free mini pods lol. anyways thanks again angela for putting it all together.

my yellow wrasse wasn't out this morning. Last night when the daylights kicked on and just the actinics was on, the clowns started chasing it again. It ended up hiding in the rocks or the sand. Not sure where it went. It wasn't out this morning before I left for work. Hopefully it will be out this evening.

DOn't toss him! If he doesn't make it just call me and I will give you the order #. Just send it back in snail mail salted down and they will give me credit.

Thanks Angela for getting this altogher. The pods were kind of a dissapointment. I saw a couple under the lights but not many. But it was some pretty green water lol. Once again thanks!!

well, good news. The yellow wrasse is still alive and looks fine. I woke up this morning to a sand storm, so I knew it had to be alive. But it was no where to be seen. So I checked out around the tank, nothing. The in the sand I noticed a yellow mark. It was burried in the sand. So, I figured it came out and the clowns are still chasing it. First I thought it was dead. I went and grabbed my net to get it out. As soon as the net touched, it went crazy  Scared the crap out of me....wasn't expecting it. I tried for awhile to catch it, cause I was gonna move it to the 10 and try and find it a better home. But it went in the rocks this time. I might tear the tankl down tonight and try to catch it to move it. I figure it will just wast away like my firefish did when the clowns always harrassed it.

Well both the tiny yellow coris wrasses died! I will take him if you catch him Steve. So far the royal gramma has pop eye horriable in one eye, 2 dead wrasses, one dead chalk basslet, 2 dead pypgmy angles, the 1 blue chromis I got (the reason for the order from there) and 1 dead skunk cleaner shrimp. Green water for pods and a lot of acclimating and work for nothing! Not so pleased this time with SWF for sure! They said they would gaurentee the dead but still, I am a little leary of ordering again after this mess.
I know my water is not in question, 55 QT tank has been up cycled for at least 6 months or more and I found a pepermint living in there I had lost last month so I know the water is not that bad. I drained half of it, vacumed real good and filled it with fresh tank water also. Then saw the fish were at 1.018 in the shipping bag and I dropped the tank to about 1.019 so they wouldn't have a huge acclimation up to 1.025 and I also adjusted the PH down a dab since the bag was at 7.5. SO I know the acclimation didn't stress them and kill them. 2 were DOA in the bag so who knows what went wrong with this order.

oh yea, i should mentioned that my snails hasnt moved a millimeter since i dropped them in the tank....i know they are alive cause everytime i touch one, i see it move inside....i have algea just waiting to be eaten up

That is common for snail I think. I wouldn't worry to much unless they don't move for a week or so. Hopefully they will have a big hungar when they wake up!

edit: yea what angela said lol . i was typing while she was replying.I got to be a little faster i guess.

what type of snails did you get gsus? I got the nass snails and they took right off but sometimes it takes snails a few days or more to get use to the water. I had some turbos take 4 or more days till they actually started moving. I thought they were dead but i did some reading and alot of places say they do this and just make sure there not dead everyday untill they start moving.

Yea, Almost all this fish have died :( What a pain, I am salting the dead to send back right now. Pain in the rear to fool with for sure. Good note is all the goby/shrimp combos seem healthy and are fine so far!

I think pecking order comes into play alot of times with livestock orders. You need a really large order to get the creme of the crop. Alot of wholesalers/retailers send the best out to the largest customers, and the smaller customers get whats left over which could be good or could be bad, or might be mixed.
