I purchased a couple of fish for my 75 gallon reef tank over the weekend.
A small hippo (once grown will go into my brothers 180), a melanarus wrasse, and a sun burst anthia.
I already had a grey head wrasse (similar to the melanarus), and I acclimated the new guys in. I didn't see the melanarus for a day or so, and 24 hours later, he was out swimming erratically, hitting rock, glass, nose diving into the sand.
The next day, he was dead. I read something about wrasses and bladder issues, he seemed fine in lfs.
my params are : 1.025 sg, 80 degrees f, 8 dkh, ph 8.05 during day, zero amm, nitrite and about 20 nitrate.
