swimming really fast

what does it mean when a clownfish swims really fast back and forth in the tank? is it natural?

Surprised no one posted an answer here. I hope you got an answer some where. Clownfish and many fish from the reefs are used to swimming non-stop on the reef and can't really sit still. If it is going back and forth you may not have enough flow in the tank. Is this one in your 10g nano tank? Next question does it swim really fast all the time or just when your two inches from the tank with your hand over it just like you are when you're about to feed ;-)

Clowns are sum fish that can sit around all the time because clowns sleep. But some clown just swim back and forth for no reason.

mine swim non stop, if they were children they would be ones with the worst hyper problems you have ever seen, lol!
