Switched power centers

Im not happy with the wires in my sump area and the fact i need to unplug the skimmer and whatever else to do maintenance. Plus i wanna clean up and hide wires the best i can. Im curious if anyone is using a switched power center? Can you post pics? I found this which seems to be a good price...

Yes, plenty on here use that same one. They are great if you don't have a controller but even at times a controller is a pain to use because the power center is a quick flick and it's off unlike the controller where you have to go into the menu to turn it off.

I have something similar but it uses blue LEDs. I forgot the brand ut you can find them on eBay for around 20-30 bucks.

usually yes, sometimes you need an extender as the plugs are pretty close together and if you have something that has a bigger plug it will block the other ports.

My controller does a majority of it but it's still very useful. When I do my water changes, I drop the pump in the sump and flick the switch.

I was about to start a thread about this same exact thing, I need about an 8 outlet one w toggle switches, the one with blue leds sounded cool, Where can we find that one and which do you guys suggest? does it need to be a surge protector as well?

Ek9vboi - where did get yours? The blue led is pretty cool. Id like to look into that one.

Outlets710 - i think they all have some sort of surge protection. I believe there has to be with the amperage and what not.

How did you guys mount them under your cabinets like that? Did you have to make a bracket?

My buddy actually just screwed his in on one side only (2 screws not all 4). It is a little wobbly, but not bad. I actually cut out a couple little blocks and brad nailed them into the opening on the stand, then just screwed into all for holes normally.

I didn't know it was 19 inches wide., Im going to have to go with a smaller one, won't fit, maybe a 6 outlet one
