switching from reef to seahorse appropriate tank

Title says it all. Want to cut back on my electric costs monthly. Out of my equipment list below what do I need to keep. Believe I can let my light, dosers, mp40s, and reefkeeper go. A four bulb fixture should let me do seahorse appropriate coral tank? What is the best seahorse for my tank? I was thinking of just tearing my 90 down all together and just setting up a 30 sitting in my basement.

well 30 gallons is the min for horses so i would go a little bigger on that. i would type a lot more but i have to go right now so hopfullly some one else will tell u what u need

I'm really hoping I can get away with just moving my 90 from my man cave in the basement to my living room (if my wife'll let me). Although the basement would probably be better in the summer for cooling purposes.

What you use of what you have depends on how you want to set up your tank. You can get several differing opinions on what to do so it boils down to researching and deciding what route you wish to take for your own tank.
As for the skimmer, it will be a great aid in sustaining water quality and pouch emphysema has not been proven to be caused by skimmers.
For my situation I have a page with my thoughts as well as some links to other useful pages at the bottom.
MY THOUGHTS ON SEAHORSE KEEPING

I had a pair of h. Reidi a couple years ago. Did not nearly do as much researchins as I am now and lost them both within a month of the mail delivering a couple hundred (exagerating). I just want to be more successful now. I plan on only soft corals in the tank as I am selling off my lps and sps in the tank now.
